Better regulation is important for achieving a quality regulatory environment that is minimally burdensome, improves competitiveness of the economy, promotes market openness, improves standards and increases transparency.

Our mission is to make life easier for citizens and businesses, and thus contribute to cost savings.

With the help of submitted initiatives and measures we implemented, we have managed to save more than 420 million EUR on an annual basis.

A new e-procedure for obtaining subsidies for electric vehicles available on eUprava and SPOT

There is a new e-procedure available on eUprava and SPOT allowing citizens and businesses to submit electronic applications for subsidies when purchasing an electric vehicle.

Data for calculating substitute salary from 1st July 2023 on the SPOT portal

The SPOT portal is introducing a new procedure from 1st July 2023, through which employers registered in the Business Register of Slovenia (PRS) will be able to obtain data from the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS) for the purpose of calculating salary compensation during temporary work incapacity due to health reasons.

The Doing Business 2020 report

Based on the Doing Business 2020 report​​​​​​​ published by the World Bank, Slovenia improved its score by +0.9 (76.5). Slovenia thus advanced by 3 places from 40th to 37th place.
